Taste of colours, colour of taste… discover a new tasting way… The Association Clos, Domaines & Châteaux devised and developed, in collaboration with Didier Michel a chromatician, an innovating and original concept to taste the grands crus of La Côte and elsewhere: combine aromas with colours.
- Package 3 "The nose of an oenologist helps the perfumer"
There are many similarities between the perfumery and oenology, though they are not easily describable. Taste several wines, while distinguishing their olfactory components in form of perfumery extracts.
- Package 4 « The nose of the perfumer helps the oenologist »
The art of perfume-making is often seen as impossible. Although it is true that for the art of creating perfumes an unusual olfactory training is needed, it is possible to approach and understand it. Learn to smell and describe the perfumes from the market, by separating their olfactory components. Taste wine and illustrate the existing similarities between perfumery and oenology.
The wine tasting courses
The renowned Engineering School of Changins which trains Oenologists throughout the globe opens its doors and invites you to take quality courses given by professionals.
- Course n°1 "Flavours and aromas"
Discover flavours and aromas of wines through an interactive and instructive approach. The flavours are discovered with water based preparations and the aromas via extracts from different fragrances. This course is followed by a tasting of 5 to 6 wines (both white and red) which clearly illustrates what you have just learned.
- Course n°2 "The wine tasting discovery"
Learn to identify the assets and imperfections of various wines and to use an appropriate vocabulary.
- Course n°3 "The white wines of La Côte"
Very much known for its Chasselas, the wine-growing region of “ La Côte ” conceals many different types of white grape varieties. Set off to discover its Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and other jewels of its soil.
- Course n°4 "The red wines of La Côte"
Renowned for its white wines, “ La Côte ” also produces quality red wines. With the latest varieties recently deployed such as the Gamaret or the Garanoir, the classical types such as the Pinot noir, Gamay, or the assemblages, discover the many facets of these authentic wines with character !
